How to Set Up Parental Controls for the MR1700

ANSWER:

1. Connect to the router, using an Ethernet cable or WiFi.
2. On your computer or device, open up a browser (ie. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc) and type into the address bar 192.168.1.1.
3. The password is motorola.
4. Click on Parental Control up top.
5. Click the plus (+) symbol to create and edit a rule.
6. Click to highlight the devices that this rule should apply to.
7. Choose the times of day, and the days of the week during which these computers should be allowed
8. Toggle the websites button to choose which websites the devices will be allowed onto. Any sites not on this list will be blocked.
9. When you are satisfied with the white list rule, click Apply.
10. Click Save.
