MX1200 WiFi Range Extender: Personalization - Change Wifi name or password

• Personalizing the Extended Network Name
  • If the MX1200 was setup manually without WPS, you will already be familiar with the Configuration Manager found at SetupExtender.net
    • If not, navigate to SetupExtender.net and enter motorola for the login.
  • From the landing page, select Advanced and then select Extended Network.
  • The page will look like the screenshot below:

• Select and delete the old Wireless Network/SSID, then type your new Wireless Network/SSID.
• Select and delete the old Password, then type your new Password.
• Click the Apply button to save.
  • If you’d like to use the same name and credentials for both wireless bands, check the box at the top of the page labeled Use the same SSID and security settings for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz bands.
  • This will gray out 5Ghz band settings as all changes will now be made from the 2.4GHz band settings box.
  • Click Apply.
