How to reset the Motorola MR2600 to Factory Default settings:
There may be occasions when you need to reset your MR2600 to factory default settings.
For example, if you have changed the admin password and lost the new password.
If you are starting to experience issues, it is good to reset the unit back to factory settings and clear out any glitches that may have developed within the unit, or settings you may have changed that you do not want.
*NOTE: You will have to manually re-enter any changes you may have made before the factory reset.
To reset to factory default:
- Make sure the MR2600 is powered on.
- Find the reset button, located on the back of the unit. It is marked Reset.
- Use a paperclip, straightened out, to press the Reset button for at least 8 seconds.
- The MR2600's Status LED will change to amber and commence a reboot sequence.
