NO LIGHT ON AT ALL:
If there is no light on at all: either the battery is not being seen by the MT7711 or the unit is not being provisioned for phone service. Make sure you have a battery installed in the unit (The MT7711 does NOT come with a battery. You must purchase battery separately).
*Try removing the battery and putting it back in to make sure the modem recognizes the battery.
*Try powering down the modem and powering back on.
*Call your Internet Service Provider and make sure you have the correct service - you MUST have Comcast/Xfinity phone (landline) service for this modem to work properly.
If the light on the battery is blinking slowly: The battery is CHARGING.
Please allow the battery to charge.
If the light on the battery is blinking fast:
-The battery is recognized as being connected and fully charged, but not currently in use.
-Battery is not charging or depleted
-If on back-up power, the battery is low
If the light is ON and SOLID: The modem's main power (through the power adapter cord) is either not plugged in or has failed. The modem is using the battery as its power source.
ANOTHER WAY TO CHECK THAT YOUR BATTERY IS
Log into your cable modem on your computer by opening your browser and
typing in the address 192.168.0.1
Click on the Advanced tab in the upper right corner, which will bring you to a new page.
On this page, mouse over the Battery tab and select the Controller tab.
Here, you should see that the battery is installed and the battery's remaining
