If you'd like to be able to make configuration changes to your MD1600 while you are away from your home network, please follow these instructions:
Open your web browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc.) Type in 192.168.0.1 into the address bar. When prompted, enter admin your username and motorola for your password, all lower case. Click Login
Select Advanced on the top right-hand side.
From the menu on the left-hand side, select Management > Access Control > Services Control
Make sure the following is setup:

| HTTP | ✓ Enable | 80 | ✓ Enable | 80 |
Select Apply/Save
On the top right-hand side of the page, select Back to Basic Setup > Status
Here you will need to write down the Internet IP Address address listed.
Once you have that Internet IP Address written down you will now want to go to a device that is not connected to your router or network and type the Internet IP Address into your browser's address bar. That should bring you to the familiar Motorola login page.
