If you are seeing a message about your connection not being private or similar when going to a local web UI on a gateway or router at https://192.168.1.1 this is normal and expected, as the devices use self-signed certs without a certificate authority to secure their connection.

If you're using Safari as your browser, the message will say "This Connection Is Not Private", from there you will click the highlighted area below, 'visit this website'.
