How to set up your Motorola MNQ1525

What You’ll Need:

• MNQ1525 router
• An active internet connection (modem or gateway)
• A smartphone
• The MotoSync+ app (available on iOS and Android)

Step 1: Download the App

• Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Search for MotoSync+
• Install the app and open it

• Open the app and tap “Register Your Account”
• Enter your Name, email, create a password, and follow the on-screen prompts




Step 3: Connect Your Router:


• a. Unplug modem (if applicable) and wait 30 seconds; plug back in
• b. Plug the modem back in and connect it to the WAN port on the MNQ1525 router using an Ethernet cable.
• c. Plug the MNQ1525 router into power; the power LED will be on, and wait for the Internet LED to turn steady green.
Step 4: Set Up via App:


• Follow the in-app instructions:
• You’ll be prompted to scan the QR code on the bottom of the MNQ1525 router and connect your mobile device to the MNQ1525 WiFi (You can find the SSID and Password information at the bottom of the router).
• If the MNQ1525 requires a Firmware update before you set it up, MotoSync+ will prompt you to update before proceeding to set up your network.
• Once setup is complete, you may choose your own name and password for the new Wi-Fi network.
• The router will apply settings and reboot.
Step 5: Customize Settings:


• After setup, you can use the app to:
• Manage your network settings.
• Setup parental controls.
• Set internet schedules.
• Monitor device activity.
• Enable/disable Safe Browsing, ad-blocking, etc.
