AnyBeam Beamforming focuses the signal (both 2 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies) on wireless clients to further enhance performance and range.

Beamforming can increase a wireless network’s range. This can improve video streaming, voice quality, and other bandwidth-sensitive transmissions.
How does Beamforming work?
Wireless routers/access points/wireless adapters that don’t support beamforming broadcast data equally in all directions.
Beamforming focuses their signals toward each wireless client, so that more data reaches the targeted device instead of radiating out into your house.
Think of putting a shade on your lamp (the wireless router) to reduce the amount of light (data) radiating in all directions. Then poke holes in the shade, so that concentrated beams of light travel to defined locations (your Wi-Fi clients: iPhone, iPad, Android, Smart TV, Gaming console, laptop, etc.) in the room.
If the Wi-Fi client also supports beamforming, the router and Wi-Fi client will "talk to eachother" - exchange information about their exact locations in order to determine the best signal path!
